High Grade Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt Critical Overview

By Brian Garvin

The first time we started looking for some sort of Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt, the goal was to figure out the best product for the job. Our church was holding a fundraiser tournament for one of the families, and all proceeds were going to help them in their struggles. It was a great way for everyone to come together, but there were several obstacles along the way.

It's always nice to hold an event such as this one because there are various charities willing to help out. Our situation consisted of needing as many poker tables as we could get our hands on. Eventually through several discussions and a little barter and trading, we were able to get ten poker tables. They were old and rugged, so it meant we had to do a little work on them. Everyone had a job from scraping, rebuilding, painting, by our was to do a little shopping. My job was to find some inexpensive Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt.

This may sound like an easy task, but in all actuality it was quite difficult. It would have been nice to just go out and buy something, but we're on a budget, so I could go crazy. Instead, I spent hours upon hours trying to find the best option for us. Needless to say I had to take a couple deep breaths here and there.

However, thanks to a bunch of coffee, red bull, and the will to search for 18 hours straight, I finally came across the Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt I was looking for all along. There was this place online that could supply with all the felt I needed to make it happen. Even though I made the purchase based on several reasons (color, durability, authentic betting lines), it was the cost that caught my eye.

Probably the most important thing is that we were transforming some of the folding tables as well. Most of the padded tops were either worn or had tears in them, and we definitely didn't want the fundraiser to look like a washed up garage sale. So we wanted to put felt on these as well, even though most of the places I came across didn't do anything to help.

However, the Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt was set up with a 36 x 72 inch cut, which allowed us to staple these onto the folding tables without it looking cheap. Granted we had a carpenter that knew how to do it professionally, so the end result was definitely a positive one. Honestly, it looked as though we purchased brand new tables when it was all said and done.

In the end, we were able to purchase a foreclosed home for the family, get them health insurance, and have enough left over for food that would last the entire year. They definitely went through some tough times, and it was very gratifying to help. Thank goodness we were able to take advantage of the Texas Holdem Poker Table Felt place we found these at online.
